Join the RVC Waste and Resource Recovery team
The primary purpose of the role is toprovidea high levelof serviceand maintenance in the operation ofCouncil’swaste and resource recovery facilities.
Key Accountabilities
Operate and maintain plant to complete routine waste management tasks, under limited direction and in compliance with Environment Protection Authority (EPA) standardsScreen and sort incoming material accurately to minimise quantities directed to the landfill and ensure that all materials are deposited in site specific locations including recyclable/reusable or specific waste deposits – inert waste, putrescible waste, asbestos, etcProvide efficient and effective administrative support including maintaining accurate records of all incoming material and outgoing recyclable and reusable material, receipt of monies and daily balancingReport any infringements to Council’s policies for landfill and transfer station operations.

Construction Induction Certificate (WHS White Card)Class C Driver LicenceSafeWork approved High Risk Licence for LF - Forklift
About The Role
Full time:76-hour fortnight at our Casino Landfill and Evans Head Transfer Station
Salary:Range from $54,776 to $62,992 pa + 12% super - The base salary range is not reflective of weekend or public holiday shifts that are worked.
