About the role

Fig CNC and Laser Cutting is seeking a talented Metal Fabricator/Sheetmetal Worker to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Tweed Heads South, NSW. If you're looking for variety, quality craftsmanship and enjoy working with state-of-the-art machinery then you could excel in this role.

What you'll be doing

1. Fabricating and assembling custom metal components and products

2. Performing welding and other joining techniques as required

3. Operating sheet metal machinery and equipment

4. Measuring, cutting, bending, and forming metal materials to desired shapes and sizes

5. Working with Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Brass and mild Steel

6. Ensuring all work meets quality standards

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a metal fabricator.

2. Strong welding skills.

3. Trade qualified or equivalent hands-on experience

4. Experience operating workshop machinery like welders and forklifts

5. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications

6. Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

7. Current driver's license and own transport
