We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team to support a surface mining operation near Emerald / Blackwater, Queensland. This long-term 12-month role is focused on planning and coordinating maintenance activities for CHPP fixed plant assets to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain maintenance plans for the coal handling prep plant (CHPP).Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to minimise downtime and optimise throughput.Use SAP CMMS to manage work orders, track asset performance, and maintain accurate records.Liaise with operations and maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance tasks.Monitor maintenance data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to reliability and performance.Ensure all planning activities comply with site safety, environmental, and operational standards.
What We’re Looking ForProven experience in maintenance planning, preferably in CHPP or fixed plant environments.Trade-qualified or relevant background in mechanical, electrical, or related maintenance disciplines.Strong understanding of maintenance requirements for CHPP or mineral processing plant assets.Proficiency in SAP CMMS.Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and planning skills.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Current Australian work rights.
