Closes: Feb 22, 2026

This global leader services a broad range of FMCG, food, beverage, and industrial customers and is recognised for its strong manufacturing capability, customer-centric innovation, and commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability. The company operates in an asset-intensive, safety-critical manufacturing environment, where the culture and performance are shaped by disciplined execution, technical excellence, and an uncompromising commitment to safety, quality, and operational reliability.

The Manufacturing Manager is a critical leadership role, accountable for leading safe, reliable, and high-performing manufacturing operations in the Pacific region. Reporting to the GM – Pacific and managing a team of 10 direct reports, the role carries end-to-end accountability for manufacturing performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, asset utilisation, and workforce engagement. This is not a functional or purely production-focused role. Success will be driven by visible leadership, disciplined execution, and the ability to align manufacturing capability with customer demand, commercial commitments, and long-term business objectives. The Manufacturing Manager will operate as a senior operational leader, balancing day-to-day execution with continuous improvement, people development, and long-term capability building.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and credible manufacturing leader, recognised for leading complex, safety-critical, and asset-intensive operations within FMCG, food, beverage, packaging, or adjacent manufacturing environments. You will bring a strong track record of delivering sustained improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and asset utilisation, while building engaged, high-performing manufacturing teams. A visible and hands-on leader, the successful candidate will set clear standards, embed disciplined operating rhythms, and ensure manufacturing outcomes consistently align with customer requirements and commercial objectives. Rather than operating purely as a functional production manager, the ideal candidate will demonstrate the maturity and judgement to operate as a senior operational leader—partnering effectively with Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Quality, Safety, and Commercial teams to ensure production plans are realistic, deliverable, and supported by reliable assets, capable people, and robust systems.

Critical for consideration:

  • 10+ years’ manufacturing or operations leadership experience within FMCG, food, beverage, packaging, or similarly complex, asset-intensive manufacturing environments.

  • Demonstrated end-to-end accountability for manufacturing performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and asset utilisation.

  • Proven experience leading large, multi-disciplinary manufacturing teams, including frontline and middle management.

  • Strong track record embedding continuous improvement and lean manufacturing disciplines, delivering measurable gains in OEE, cost, waste, service, and safety performance.

  • Operational credibility with the ability to partner effectively with Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial stakeholders.

  • Experience operating in safety-critical, regulated manufacturing environments with strong WHS and compliance requirements.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related discipline.

If your background and experience reflects the critical consideration points above, please submit your CV and a brief summary detailing your interest in the role. Alternately, please call Mathew Newman from Yorkshire Bridge on 0407 798 *** for a confidential discussion.
