Your new role

As the Training and Development Officer, you will play a key role in coordinating and managing workforce training across the entire employee lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:Maintaining training complianceCoordinating RTO engagementSupporting WHS related training administrationDeveloping training dashboards and reportsManaging the training matrix, and delivering efficient training logistics.You will also oversee e-learning systems, assist with data reporting (including Power BI), and identify funding opportunities to support training initiatives

What you'll need to succeedStrong ability to coordinate multiple training activities, stakeholders, and priorities in a dynamic environment.Experience working closely with training providers, internal teams, and employees to achieve successful training outcomes.High attention to detail, particularly when maintaining compliance documentation, training registers, and reporting.Understanding of Work Health & Safety and experience administering training systems or LMS platforms.Confident computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data analysis.Current Police Clearance and an unrestricted C-class driver's licence.Cert IV in WHS and/or Cert IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to obtain).Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI (desirable).What you'll get in returnYou'll enjoy a highly appealing regional-council benefits package, including:
