Sydney Health & Care Services (SHCS) is seeking two experienced Workforce Supervisors to support our frontline workforce across Home Care and community-based supports. This is a hands-on role focused on timesheet oversight, performance coaching, compliance, and recruitment support, working closely with our HR and Workforce Compliance Team.

Working Hours & Availability

Standard hours: Monday to Thursday — 9:30am to 3:30pm

You will also need to be available for:

  • Additional hours and/or an extra day as required, within 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday
  • Participation in the On-Call / Out-of-Hours rotation (Monday to Sunday) as part of shared team coverage

About the Role

As a Workforce Performance & Compliance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

Timesheets & Attendance

  • Reviewing timesheets for accuracy and completeness
  • Following up with workers and managers regarding exceptions, missed submissions, or discrepancies
  • Supporting consistent timesheet processes across teams

Performance Management & Coaching

  • Providing regular coaching and feedback to frontline workers
  • Supporting leaders with performance conversations and development plans
  • Managing performance concerns with clear documentation and timely follow-up

Disciplinary Processes

  • Conducting disciplinary meetings and formal coaching in line with policy, procedural fairness, and legislation
  • Preparing documentation and maintaining accurate records of actions and outcomes
  • Escalating higher-risk matters appropriately through HR channels

Workforce Compliance & Training

  • Ensuring frontline workers remain compliant (checks, qualifications, mandatory training)
  • Coordinating training needs and following up outstanding documentation
  • Working closely with the Workforce Compliance Team to maintain audit readiness

Recruitment & Induction Support

  • Supporting recruitment needs including interviewing and onboarding coordination
  • Conducting inductions and ensuring new starters are job-ready and compliant
  • Partnering with HR and Workforce Compliance to deliver a smooth onboarding experience
