While our main hub is based at Wallsend, the role also involves providing home and clinic visits across 12 sites throughout the Greater Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens area.

About The Role

In this role our successful candidate will align with the First 2000 days, providing safe compassionate person-centred care in partnership with children and families/carers in an individual, sensitive and culturally appropriate manner. You will offer support and guidance to babies, children and families/carers encompassing parenting, feeding, developmental stages, sleep and settle.

This role will see you become part of an exceptional team, where each member brings unique strengths and experiences - but what really sets us apart is how well we work together. We're like a close-knit family, always supporting each other and collaborating to give our clients the best care possible.

You will be supported by the Service Manager, NUM, CNC’s, CNE, CNS1s and Child and Family Health Nurses in the role. There are professional development presentations and education, team clinical supervision opportunities, and support for the individual supervision requirements if required.

Requirements

Current Registration as a registered Nurse/Midwife with AHPRAChild and Family Health QualificationsEligible to drive in NSW with a current driver's licence
