We’re looking for an experienced veterinarian to step into an acting Veterinary Director cover role while our current VD is on long service leave (March to July). You might already be leading teams with ease, or you might be an established GP vet who’s ready to stretch into leadership for a few months with the right support around you.

This is a hands-on role that blends mostly GP with some additional urgent care and emergency-style shifts. It’s a great fit if you want variety, clinical growth, and the chance to build your leadership confidence, without stepping into full ECC.

What You’ll Be Doing

Mostly GP consults and routine surgery, plus a portion of urgent care/emergency-style shiftsHelping guide the day-to-day clinical rhythm while you’re here, with support from experienced clinicians and our wider networkWorking with a caseload that keeps you learning and engaged, without overnight or critical care work
