Opportunity

We’re looking for a casual Feedmill Operator to support maintenance activities over the next three months, with the potential for ongoing work for the right person.

Reporting to the Feedmill Manager and located within an hour of Goondiwindi QLD, this hands-on role focuses on the cleaning and upkeep of onsite facilities including production area and silo’s, while assisting the team to ensure the feedmill operates safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

About the Role

This opportunity works in our Feedmill located within an hour of Goondiwindi, QLD and is responsible for the following:

• Assist with emptying and cleaning of onsite silo's
• Assist with the cleaning of our production facility
• Assist with production needs as required
• Maintain high standards of workplace health, safety and hygiene
• Ensure compliance with FeedSafe quality standards and promptly address any deviations
• Complete other tasks as instruction by on-site staff

About You

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Previous exposure to feedmill operations is a huge bonus!
• High attention to detail with the ability to recognise issues and enact solutions in line with company processes
• Confident communicator who promotes teamwork through clear guidance and inclusive collaboration
• A current forklift licence - (preferred, not essential)
• Working at Heights or Confined Space are a bonus but are not required
