Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care and daily living assistance, including hygiene and mobility support.
Support community access and social inclusion by accompanying participants to appointments, activities, and recreational events.
Foster independence by assisting with routine tasks and skill development.
Follow individual support plans, behaviour support strategies, and adhere to NDIS standards and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with families, coordinators, and team members.

We Are Looking For Candidates Who:
Have prior experience working with individuals with varying disabilities, including intellectual, physical, and psychosocial.
Demonstrate empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities.
Hold a current driver’s licence and have access to a reliable, roadworthy vehicle.
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Can confidently manage personal care tasks and adhere to professional boundaries.

Required Qualifications and Certifications:
Certificate III or IV in Disability Support, Individual Support, Community Services, or a related field (or currently undertaking).
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (WWCC) – or willing to obtain.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (as per current health guidelines).
Manual Handling training (essential or willing to complete).
Medication Administration training (preferred).

Highly Regarded (Added Advantage):
Practical experience with manual handling and positive behaviour support.
Previous training in infection control, mental health first aid, or dementia care.
Familiarity with NDIS documentation and standards.
Multilingual skills or experience working in culturally diverse environments.
