About The Role

The Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre is searching for suitable individuals to join their dynamic and professional Team at the state-of-the-art venue. You will be a part of providing exceptional customer service, high quality delivery of food, beverage, and events and be able to assist in the preparation and service of activities. Junior positions are available from $16.00 per hour.

Reporting directly to the Food, Beverage & Events Coordinator, the focus of this position is to:

Provide excellent customer service at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre and contribute to the successful delivery of programs, activities, services and events at the facility.Preparation, presentation and service of food and beverages include barista and responsible service of alcohol.Deliver fine dining food and beverage service.Assistance in preparing and setting rooms for events and in delivering events.Events and theatre ushering.Cleaning duties when required

About You

To be successful in the position, you will have:

Junior Food, Beverage & Events Attendant

Current Food Handler Basics CertificateProof of Australian residency or citizenship

Food, Beverage & Events Attendant

Cert I or II in hospitality or demonstrated relevant experience in hospitality or a food/events service industryCurrent Food Handler Basics CertificateCurrent RSAProof of Australian residency or citizenshipCurrent NSW Working with children check

This position requires a current NSW Working with Children Check if you are 18 years or over. You will be prompted to provide your WWCC number as part of your application. Applicants are required to apply and pay for this check if not already obtained.
