Applications are invited for the position ofTrainee Water Services, based at Council's Inverell Works Centre. The successful applicant shall be an operative responsible for assisting with the carrying out of the maintenance program and repair works associated with the operation of the water distribution systems.

Essential

Applicants should address the following Selection Criteria:

Qualifications

NSW Higher School Certificate or equivalent;NSW Class C Drivers Licence;SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card ('White Card'); andCapacity to enrol in and complete a Certificate III in Water Industry Operations.

Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of theLocal Government (State) Award2023. The classification for the position will be up to Operational Band 1, Level 1, T6. Salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience, and will be $1,023.00 gross per week. In addition, a Level 1 Adverse Working Conditions allowance of $0.513 per hour, or a Level 2 Adverse Working Conditions allowance of $1.327 per hour shall be paid where applicable.
