Your new company 
Our client is an IT company based in Hobart. 

Your new role 

  • Strong capability as an infrastructure focused IT Solutions Architect across compute, storage, cloud, networking, security environments, with the ability to flexibly develop, guide and govern high-level architectures and understand architectural impacts across complex enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise backup, recovery and cyber resilience requirements and solutions, with strong familiarity across commercial platforms such as Veeam, Dell PowerProtect, Commvault, HPE or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Experienced in commercial assessment, including license models, commercial constructs, cost benchmarking, support arrangements, and vendor proposals with strong capability in evaluating market and technology fit across diverse vendor landscapes.
  • Experienced in conducting architecture and design reviews to validate vendor solutions against standards, requirements, and resilience patterns.
  • Skilled in leading requirements gathering workshops and interviews, translating business needs into technical and operational specifications.

What you'll need to succeed 

  • Ability to support multi‑hypervisor environments and cloud + on‑prem recovery
  • Understanding of RTO/RPO recovery requirements
  • Experience defining operational run‑state models and ownership
  • Knowledge of Essential Eight (E8), AESCSF, and related compliance obligations
