Supagas is continuing to grow nationally, and they are seeking an experienced and people focused Branch Manager to lead the Townsville operation.

In this role, you will oversee a small, dedicated team (3 drivers and 1 yard hand) and ensure the branch runs safely, efficiently, and with a strong customer-first mindset.

You will work closely with the QLD State Manager and the Branch State Operations Manager who will support you every step of the way.

What you’ll be doing

·       Lead daily branch operations, ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

·       Manage and support a small operational team, focusing on development and performance.

·       Oversee logistics, fleet, and multi drop delivery activities

·       Drive operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and branch growth

·       Maintain stock levels, ensure timely deliveries, and meet branch budgets

·       Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams

·       Ensure all safety procedures, training, audits and compliance activities are completed on time.

·       Respond to operational issues, incidents, and after hours requirements when needed

Must Have:

·       Previous people leadership or supervisory experience

·       Strong knowledge of logistics, transport, multi-drop or operational environments

·       Solid administrative and computer skills

·       A hands-on leader who is willing to roll up their sleeves and assist where needed

·       Strong communication, problem solving, and organisational skills.

Nice to Have:

·       Forklift licence and/or MR licence

·       Experience in gas, industrial, transport or similar operational environments
