You will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by operating and maintaining state-of-the-art CNC machinery and assisting with inward and outward goods. Working closely with our design and production teams, you will ensure the accurate and timely production of components for custom cabinetry projects.

This position is suited to someone who has the following attributes:

• Likes the idea of operating computer based machinery

• Enjoys operating and maintaining equipment 

• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Ability to read basic plans

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

• Maintains a safe and organised workplace

• A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement

• Likes an opportunity to excel

Desirable skills and experience but not essential to have:

• Forklift license or happy to be trained

• Be OK with working overtime

• Be OK with working in a factory

• Construction White card

• Previous construction industry experience

This role is full time paying above award wages + super with flexible working arrangements for suitable applicant. You will also be financially rewarded for securing new customers to the business.

Living Space Joinery is based in Torquay, we work on both high-end residential and commercial jobs around the region.  You will be working alongside the owner and qualified tradesman, contributing to some of the best homes on the Surfcoast and surrounds.
