About this opportunity
As the Plant Operator, you will be required to provide plant operations in road construction, road maintenance and labouring duties under limited supervision as directed.

Currently we have One (1) position located at Beaudesert and one (1) in Boonah, however Council employees shall be required to work from any of our depots.

Additionally, you’ll also …

• Perform at a high skill level in medium mechanical plant operations.
• Carry out a pre-start safety check list.
• Completion of fault report sheets. Use of UHF radio equipment. 
• Carry out daily general labouring duties in an efficient, effective and safe manner. 
• Operate small plant safely and only after being inducted in the proper use of this plant. 

About you…

• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle under a C & HR Class Licence (Desirable). 
• Certificate of competency relevant to plant. 
• Current card for General Construction Induction. 
• Safe operation of medium mechanical plant in accordance with manufacturers' specifications, statutory requirements and Council procedures. 

What’s in it for you?

This position comes with a base remuneration from $63,349.19, working a 38hr week, 9 day fortnight and up to 13% employer superannuation contribution.
