Crane Truck Driver - HR

Join our dynamic team as a full-time Rigid Crane Truck Driver. Based in beautiful Currumbin Waters, QLD, this crucial role will see you operating a crane semi to deliver reinforcing steel for our valued client throughout SEQ and Northern NSW.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a heavy combination (HR) crane truck safely and efficiently to transport reinforcing steel and related products

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition

• Ensure you load is secured and safe for travel

• Unload the truck using the truck mounted crane, ensuring all goods are secured properly by the lifting chains

• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and completing deliveries on time

• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to deliveries, vehicle maintenance and NHVR legislation

• Adhere to all relevant road and safety regulations

What we're looking for

• A current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence with a proven track record of safe driving

• A current Vehicle Loading Crane (CV) license or higher with relevant and recent experience

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle unexpected situations on the road

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• A commitment to safety and a willingness to follow policies and procedures

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Legal working rights in Australia (any valid work visa or residency status)
