About the role

Join our dynamic team at Tradelink as an Area Sales Manager based in Townsville, QLD. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and strengthening customer relationships across the region. With a focus on providing exceptional service, you will work closely with our valued clients to identify their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and expand an existing portfolio of customers in the local area

• Identify new business opportunities and proactively pursue them

• Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on product selection and applications

• Collaborate with the broader sales team to share best practices and support each other's efforts

• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities

• Contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives

• Represent Tradelink at industry events and customer meetings

What we're looking for

• Proven track record of success in a sales or account management role, ideally within the construction, plumbing or hardware industry

• Strong negotiation and customer service skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the local region

• Previous Plumbing Experience not required but highly regarded
