Head of Tower Crane Erection / Lead Install Rigger

Spartan Group of Companies is expanding, and we’re looking for a highly experienced rigger to lead our tower crane erection and dismantle operations across multiple sites in Queensland.

Your Role

As Head Install Rigger, you will:

• Lead the erection and dismantle of tower cranes across our active construction projects

• Supervise and coordinate rigging teams on site

• Plan and oversee crane installation logistics, ground prep and safety zones

• Liaise with project managers, crane operators, and logistics to ensure smooth and safe installs

• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with WHS and lift plans

• Train and mentor junior riggers and labourers when required

What You Need

• Advanced Rigging Ticket (RA)

• Dogman Ticket (DG)

• Strong experience erecting and dismantling tower cranes (Hammerhead and Luffing)

• Leadership and team coordination experience

• Strong understanding of lift planning, ground prep and structural sequencing

• Commitment to safety, attention to detail and excellent communication
