JP Flynn Builders has a proud history spanning in excess of 35 years and it now offers an opportunity for an Insurance Building Estimator to support our Tasmanian Team servicing Hobart and surrounding region.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager you will assess jobs to ascertain the cause of damage and scope of work. You will write assessment reports, provide accurate costing information and liaise with Supervisors and Trades regularly to ensure the smooth-running of all jobs. You will also communicate with insurance companies and insured parties and manage your time effectively to complete necessary documents. 

The successful candidate will have prior experience working in an Estimator’s role in the insurance/maintenance/repairs industry. You will be an excellent communicator, have great attention to detail and proven experience in delivering jobs on time and to excellent quality. You will be computer literate, have a trade qualification / background and have a current and valid vehicle licence. You are now looking to join a stable business for a long-term opportunity.
