The Community Engagement worker will deliver one-on-one support services; and group sessions, and a wide range of community development activities aimed at building resilient people, families, and communities.

  • Effectively manages the delivery of community engagement and development strategies and activities.
  • Establish effective relationships with clients that encourage self-determination and participation and support them to improve their situation.
  • Support is provided to clients through group settings.
  • Clients are assisted to access support services.
  • Promote and develop existing and new partnerships and support key partnership activities including a range of community support and development activities.
  • Implement 1:1 community support and community development practices and processes.
  • Able to connect with clients and create a safe space.
  • Able to engage clients to achieve positive outcomes.
  • A national police record check is required.
  • NSW Working with Children Check is required.
