We have an opportunity for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team specialising in Heavy Vehicle repairs and maintenance across on-highway, construction, mining, and agriculture customers based at our Mackay branch.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel productsDiagnose and repair various enginesEngine rebuilding and reconditioningDisassemble, inspect, and clean engines and components

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

Must have Heavy Vehicle Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic or Diesel Fitter (to Australian standards)Previous experience with repairs and maintenance experience with On Highway Truck, Mining, Construction or Agriculture applicationsKenworth, Western Star, Hitachi, Komatsu & Liebherr experience highly desirable
