Our client, Sodhi Family Trust is currently seeking diligent and detail-oriented Primary Products Inspection Officers to ensure agricultural and food products meet established quality, safety, and compliance standards. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of primary production processes and demonstrate a commitment to upholding rigorous inspection protocols. Key responsibilities include assessing products for defects or contamination, verifying adherence to industry and regulatory guidelines, and compiling accurate reports. This role is vital to maintaining the trust's reputation for excellence and ensuring that only top-quality products reach the market.

Job Responsibility:

· Inspect agricultural produce to ensure compliance with government and industry standards with respect to quality, health and licensing.

Duties:

· Check crops for disease, insect or chemical residue and other damage, and reject those of substandard quality

· Check and grade produce during processing to meet government standards of purity and grading

· supervise the proper disposal of quarantine garbage

· examine imported plants and make quarantine arrangements

· advise on packing and loading regulations

· advise primary producers on economic aspects of disease eradication, and inform producers and the general public of health implications of diseases and impurities

Qualification:

· AQF Diploma or Higher

· Minimum 1 years of experience in related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
