About The Role
The State Quality Lead provides strong and effective leadership and support to the Quality Support Team and management of Arcare on compliance issues measured against Commonwealth and State legislation, standards, regulations and guidelines, whilst supporting the overall achievement of compliance objectives. The position holder works closely with the State Manager and reports directly to the National Quality Manager.
Your Primary Functions Will Be
Development and/or co-development of quality and/or operational documents and systems used by Arcare Management and support of Quality Support Team Development and periodic review of Audit Tools Preparation and submission of the registration processDevelopment and management of Audit Schedules and Planners Provision of trend reports to Regional and Executive Management as requested Contributing to the Continuous Improvement/Quality Improvement processesLiaison with Quality Aged Care AgencyAssist in the maintenance of the aged care standards in collaboration with other State Quality Team leader/sAttend and provide requested quality and safety reporting via the Arcare Clinical Governance forum. Provide content knowledge expertise to the Learning and Development Department as relevant to scope of the role. Undertake root cause analysis where clinical risk has been identified; and /or adverse outcome/event/incident has occurred, and oversee the implementation of robust continuous improvement programs to address same, as requested by State Managers.Provide support in the SIRS processProvide support for the National Quality Indicator Program
Skills & Experience
Proven ability to develop positive relationships to influence and negotiate change; Strong clinical understanding and Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse QualificationCurrent AHPRA Registration Strong knowledge of Aged Care Act, Standards, Guidelines and Regulations Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to liaise with Government departments and their representatives Previous Aged Care quality systems experience Current Driver’s License
Desirable
Diploma in Frontline Management or above Certificate IV Workplace Assessment and TrainingExperience in using eCase clinical care system
