About The Role

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Perioperative Registered Nurse with experience in scrub/ scout to join our clinical team on a part time basis. Minimum 40 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday flexible roster.

Duties And Responsibilities

This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.

Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient careEnsure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgeryEnsure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focusMonitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complicationsDeliver education and support to patients for the management of their recoverySupervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift

About You

You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:

Solid experience in perioperative scrub/ scout theatre nursingExperience in the below specialties highly desirableTertiary qualifications in Nursing or similarCurrent AHPRA registrationExceptional interpersonal and communication skills

About Insight Private Hospital

Insight Private Hospital is a purpose-built modern short stay facility specialising in Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Endoscopy and Interventional Pain Management. Our hospital includes 4 Operating Theatres, 6 Recovery beds, 12 private overnight suites plus 5 short stay beds, and a large day surgery unit.
