About The Role
We’re looking for a trade-qualified Motor Assessor with hands-on experience in panel beating, spray painting, or mechanical repairs (Cert III or equivalent). You’ll use your technical knowledge and strong customer skills to assess vehicle damage, prepare accurate repair quotes, and negotiate settlements.
What You'll Do
Negotiate with repairers to achieve the best repair method, cost, and quality outcomesAssess vehicles on-road and via desktop using Suncorp’s assessing frameworksManage escalations and disputes, ensuring timely and fair resolutionsConduct reinspection, audits, and quality checks to maintain repair standardsSupport customers through repair, write-off, and settlement processes
What You'll Bring
Trade qualification (Cert III) in panel beating, spray painting, or mechanics or equivalent experience as a Motor AssessorA minimum of 3 years' post-trade qualification experienceProven experience in quote writing and assessing/estimating skillsKnowledge of repair methods, insurance codes, and complianceCurrent unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
