About the role

The Hive Academy is seeking passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educators to join our team in Morisset, NSW. These roles are responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be a key part of our mission to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.

We have positions available both at our currently trading Hive Academy Morisset (Alliance Ave) and our newly built Hive Academy Kalaf Avenue (Morisset)- predicted opening (pending Service Approval) Early February 2026.

What you'll be doing

1. Planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs and activities

2. Observing and documenting each child's progress and development

3. Providing a safe, clean and welcoming environment for children

4. Building positive relationships with children, families and the wider community

5. Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

6. Actively participating in continuous professional development

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field- Currently seeking candidates with:

• Bachelor Of Education (Early Childhood) - Or ACECQA approved equivalent

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care- Or ACECQA approved equivalent

• Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care- Or ACECQA approved equivalent

• Interest in completing a Certificate 3 In Early Education and Care via Traineeship

AND:

1. Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate pedagogy- not required for Traineeship applicants

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

3. A genuine passion for nurturing and inspiring young children

4. Current First Aid and CPR certification- or willingness to obtain.

5. Working with Children Check
