The Opportunity
As a Senior Medical Officer, you'll provide comprehensive, patient-centred medical care across hospital and primary care settings. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing patients across emergency, general practice, and maternity servicesProviding obstetric services in line with your credentialed scope of practiceLeading and supervising junior medical staff, students, and health workersSupporting quality improvement, governance, and clinical educationContributing to community health programs and chronic disease managementYou’ll work as part of a committed, multidisciplinary team delivering care that changes lives — not just treats symptoms.
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for:
General Practitioners with FACRRM, FRACGP or international equivalent (MRCGP and MICGP)Hold advanced obstetrics training (e.g. DRANZCOG Advanced or equivalent)Skilled in emergency and hospital-based careStrong communicators and natural team leadersCommitted to rural and remote health, teaching, and continuous improvement
