Salary $32-40 per hour plus penalty rates and travel/meal allowances.

About the business and the role:

Jaymak Central QLD is a highly successful private franchise within the Jaymak national franchise network. We have won multiple awards since we joined the national franchise network in April 2023.

This role will suit someone who enjoys working in an environment that offers variety, flexibility, autonomy and small teams.

Role is NOT suitable for transient workers or backpackers due to training requirements and we are looking for Permanent Staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional hygiene cleaning service to new and existing Jaymak customers across the Townsville Whitsunday, Mackay territories and inland from those areas but not limited to Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Emerald.

Remuneration and Benefits:

Hourly rates above award for the most experienced person.

Use of company vehicle, with fuel card.

Over time as applicable.

Working hours:

Varied hours as we are customer based and some job require kitchens to be closed after service.

Determined via weekly schedule.

If we are working away, we try to group jobs in the same area so we can get all the work done within the week so we are home on weekends.

Role Details

You will be performing equipment hygiene maintenance cleaning in hotels, hospitals, aged care, food manufacturing and distribution facilities etc.

• Ensuring that proper maintenance and cleaning procedures are followed to our

ISO22000 certified standards.

• Performing mould and bacteria contamination control in cool rooms, fridges, dishwashers and ice machines

• Cleaning and sanitising Air Handling Units and Air Conditioners.

• Performing detailed kitchen cleaning and sanitising.

• Head office is located in Yeppoon , however our customers are across Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Emerald, Mackay, Whitsunday, Townsville. (Accommodation is paid for or provided)

Skills and Experience

• No previous experience is necessary, full training is provided on the job.

• You must be well presented, reliable and flexible.

• Able to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised.

• Willingness to manage Staff

• This role requires you to work with your hands, show attention to detail and solve

problems.

• You must be comfortable working at heights.

• A White (OH&S) Card, Elevated Work Platform Licence, Working at Heights, Food Handlers Certificate and a clean Police Check & Working With Children Check is required, First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain mentioned qualifications.

• Full MANUAL Drivers licence required.

• You must be fully vaccinated (Covid & Flu)

• A service vehicle along with all the necessary operating equipment is provided.
