Your new roleThe role updates, manages and improves the organisation’s corporate website. Content, functionality and accessibility are maintained to a high standard. An external provider supports technical performance and the delivery of a new website.
Social media activity across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X is managed to build engagement. Content is created, engagement is monitored and insights are shared with internal teams.
Responses are coordinated, teams are supported and targeted campaigns are delivered.Monthly e‑newsletters are produced in partnership with internal stakeholders. Performance is tracked and delivery is adjusted to maintain engagement.
Key dutiesUpdate and maintain website content using Silverstripe CMS.Coordinate technical support with the external website contractor.Lead improvements to website accessibility, functionality and user experience.Support development and rollout of the new corporate website.Produce analytics reports for web and social performance.Create and schedule social media content across core platforms.Manage moderation and support internal teams with online engagement.Coordinate video and photography requirements for digital channels.Produce monthly e‑newsletters for community, clubs and stakeholders.Maintain brand standards across all digital output.Support internal processes for public notices and tender advertising.
Your profileExperience in a communications or digital content role.Strong skills in web content management, HTML and Photoshop.Understanding of web design principles and current trends.Experience in social media production and analytics.Strong writing and editing skills.Knowledge of graphic design principles.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Tertiary qualifications in Communications or Marketing.Current C class licence.Local government experience is desirable.
