Growthbuilt

Date posted: January 20, 2026

Closes: Feb 19, 2026

About The Project

We’re proud to partner with Uniting to deliver the staged redevelopment of the Nareen Gardens precinct at Bateau Bay, a significant seniors living project on the NSW Central Coast.

The full redevelopment will deliver a modern, integrated seniors living community comprising independent living units, residential aged care and shared community facilities, constructed across two major stages.

Stage 1, now commencing, includes the demolition of existing buildings and construction of 76 new independent living units, with a further 106 units planned in Stage 2, bringing the total to 182 homes upon completion.

As a redevelopment within an active, live operational retirement village, the project requires careful staging, strong resident safety controls, and clear communication to maintain access continuity and minimise disruption to the community.

You’ll be joining the project at site establishment, ahead of demolition works, a rare opportunity to be embedded from day one and help shape how the site is set up, managed and delivered, with strong continuity expected through to Stage 2.
