This role will involve:
- Manage and coordinate HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Review and develop HR policies and procedures that meet legislative and organisational requirements.
- Support payroll, employee benefits, and recognition programs.
- Collaborate with the leadership team on strategic planning, business continuity, and succession planning.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe workplace culture.
- Support professional development and well-being for all staff.
- Ensure compliance with NDIS, Fair Work, and WHS frameworks.
- Attend management meetings, contributing to business goals and compliance.
They are looking for candidates with:
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role within the Disability, NDIS or aged care sector
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Community Services, Individual Support or a related sector-specific discipline.
- Solid knowledge of the NDIS, Fair Work, and WHS frameworks.
- Empathy, compassion, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and maintain a positive workplace culture.
- Person-centred approach and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Excellent organisational skills and business acumen.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Additional Information (include and not limited to):
- Relevant certifications (NDIS Worker Orientation, COVID-19 Infection Control, First Aid/CPR/Anaphylaxis).
- Valid driver’s licence, suitable vehicle, and right to work in Australia.
- Current WWCC
- This is an on-site position; therefore, hybrid or remote working is not available
