An exciting opportunity exists for enthusiastic Contract Administrator to join the team. We are located 5 minutes out of the Bendigo CBD and can offer you a great working space, training and mentoring as well as an opportunity for career growth and development within the business.
The role will have aspects of client facing project activities as well as coordination of internal project activities. Some of the tasks delivered may include: To undertake the procurement, supervision and administration of clients’ capital works contracts for buildings, civil infrastructure and other projects as required. To provide regular and timely reporting on all contracts, projects and programs administered. To participate in the development, maintenance and revision processes associated with the delivery of our services and operation of MCM’s ISO certified Business Management System (BMS). To liaise with other MCM divisions effectively and efficiently to obtain all necessary information for the effective delivery of our services and projects. To facilitate the delivery of clients’ procurement and evaluation of tenders. Assist with the review of MCM business tenders and contracts. To provide written reports and recommendations for the awarding of contracts. Undertaking training and development to support your career. These activities may be delivered from our head office in Bendigo, on site or within our clients’ offices throughout regional Victoria.
Your Skills & Experience: This position requires a highly organised, detail minded and motivated professional. You will be working within a team environment with people from a range of professional backgrounds and levels of experience. Whilst the below details the ideal candidate we encourage those who have transferrable skills and or have the skills but might need flexible work arrangements to apply too – we also want a culture fit.
Our ideal candidate possesses the below skills:
Training or formal qualifications in law, construction or business or equivalent experience within support / coordination roles. Experience working with and managing construction contracts. Excellent organisational and coordination skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities. High attention to detail, teamwork and collaboration, fostering productive relationships, ensuring compliance, and promoting team well-being. Ability to work independently, as well as interact regularly with clients, and subcontractors. Computer skills including MS suite, project management software and SharePoint. More than anything, you’ll have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a drive to provide high quality outcomes How to Apply:
