About the RoleReporting to the People & Culture Manager, this is a true generalist Advisor role supporting a predominantly blue-collar workforce. This is a full time onsite position, working closely with leaders and employees to provide HR support across the business.
Key responsibilities include:Managing the end to end recruitment process across the organisation sourcing various roles in various locations including onboarding of new employeesProviding operational HR advice to line managers and supporting them with their teamsAssisting with performance management, employee relations and grievance processesManaging employee variations, probation reviews and exit processesAssisting with industrial relations matters, awards and legislative interpretationContributing to employee engagement and employer-of-choice initiativesAssisting with policy, compliance, reporting and continuous improvement activitiesSupporting change management and business improvement initiatives

About YouCulture and team fit are critical for this role. You are practical, approachable and comfortable working closely with managers and employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You will ideally have:At least 3+ years’ experience in a generalist People & Culture / HR Advisor roleExperience supporting a blue-collar or industrial workforceSound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relationsConfidence managing performance issues, grievances and employee relations mattersA collaborative, down-to-earth communication styleExperience using HR systems (ELMO); payroll exposure is highly regardedA proactive mindset, friendly nature with a genuine interest in improving culture and engagement
