Allied Health Assistant – Transitional Aged Care

The Temora Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) aims to transition aged care clients safely from hospital back into the community. The TACP Allied Health Assistant will work closely with the TACP multidisciplinary team to support clients to achieve their goals.

As the TACP Allied Health Assistant, you will implement therapy programs, assist with therapy groups, practice using equipment and assist cleaning equipment, support rehabilitation, and be an integral part of the client’s recovery and the smooth running of our services. By working within the delegated clinical boundaries, you will provide safe and essential client-centred care and assist with administrative tasks to ensure efficiency and accuracy of our program.

Employment Type: Permanent Full Time (Job Share Considered)

Position Classification: Allied Health Assistant – Level 1-3

Remuneration: $63,177.29 - $71,429.33 per annum, pro rata (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)

Hours Per Week: up to 38

Our Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate

Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or formal commitment to complete this training within 3 years of employment, or relevant qualification and willingness to complete required skill sets.Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required) as delegated by supervising Allied Health Professional
