Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Unit Manager to join our Anaesthetics Department on a full-time basis. In This Position You Will Be Responsible For

Providing operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management Coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based Ensuring the delivery of excellent patient and family centred care in a team focused environment Providing guidance, mentoring and support to your team Be accountable for the effective management of human, financial and material resources Undertaking direct patient care, as required Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

Essential Requirements

Current Registration with AHPRA Minimum 5 years’ experience Current ALS and PALS Certificate Quality Improvement projects Resource management - equipment, staffing, succession planning Sound clinical knowledge Product/Equipment trial and evaluation Focus on the development of our business unit working with the Doctors Experience in the Acute setting/relevant to position advanced skills Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills Positive role modelling behaviours Excellent customer service focus, time management and prioritisation Ability to manage a dynamic and changing environment High degree of computer literacy
