We’re looking for a hands on Electrical Maintenance Superintendent to lead our electrical crew and keep our field equipment running safely and reliably. This role supports the maintenance of oil and gas rigs and associated equipment, within Ventia’s remote operations (across QLD and WA) and suits someone who knows the tools, knows the standards, and knows how to get the best out of a team.

About The Role

You’ll supervise our Field Electricians, help with breakdowns, support site projects, and make sure all electrical work meets Australian Standards. The job includes field work, training support, audits, and day to day maintenance leadership.

What You’ll Do

Lead and support a team of electricians across town and field workStep in for breakdowns, project work and onsite support where requiredCarry out site audits and ensure all electrical tasks meet safety and compliance requirementsHelp train and develop the electrical crewUse SAP/MEX to manage jobs, inspections and maintenance recordsProvide technical advice on electrical systems, PLCs, motors and power generationWork with budgets, timelines and site teams to get work done safely and on time

What You Need

Trade qualified ElectricianQLD Electrical LicenceOpen Class Driver’s LicenceStrong electrical safety knowledge and understanding of Australian StandardsProven leadership or supervision experienceCapable with PLCs, control systems, motors and generatorsGood computer skills and time managementExperience with SAP or MEXWilling to work 2:2 roster with on call requirementsComfortable with field based work

Good To Have

WA Electrical LicenceQTP / QBPHazardous Areas cert and HA maintenance experienceElectrical design or project experienceOil & gas, mining or industrial background
