Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. We are seeking a compassionate and committed Registered Midwife to join our maternity team and provide high quality, woman centred care across the continuum of pregnancy, birth and postnatal services. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive clinical environment where evidence based practice, collaboration and respect for women and families are central to everything we do.
As a Registered Midwife, you will bring strong clinical expertise, sound judgement and excellent communication skills to support women through antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care. You will work collaboratively with obstetric, neonatal and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, culturally responsive and holistic care for women, babies and their families. The role will suit someone who demonstrates professionalism, adaptability and a genuine commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement.

What You Will Bring To The Role
Current registration to practice as a Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)Demonstrated recent experience and clinical skill in midwiferyDemonstrated ability to organise and prioritise workDemonstrated evidence of being able to provide woman centred care within a multidisciplinary team environmentDemonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbalAbility to work a flexible roster, day, evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit/service requirementsAvailable to undertake rotation to Nepean Birth Unit for 4 weeks each yearCurrent Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
