Qualifications & Experience

Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent. Demonstrated experience in industrial maintenance (manufacturing, timber, energy, or heavy industry preferred).Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment (preferred).

Core Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on mechanical systems, machinery, and plant equipment.Conduct troubleshooting, fault finding, and problem-solving to minimize downtime.Execute project work, installations, and upgrades as directed by maintenance supervisors.Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Carry out metal machining, fabrication, and welding tasks when required.
