About the role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Apprentice to join our team at R&M Hoffman Electrical in the Lockyer Valley, QLD. This is a full-time position where you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and develop your skills in the electrical industry.

What you'll be doing

• Assist qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment

• Participate in on-the-job training and complete a formal electrical apprenticeship program

• Learn to read , design, electrical diagrams and schematics

• Develop a strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and regulations

• Perform various tasks such as , switchboard building ,motor repairs ,RAC installation ,maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical equipment .

• You will also be trained to weld and fabricate , operate a lathe and become efficient with maintaining our plant and equipment .

What we're looking for

• Year 12 completion with a keen interest in the electrical field

• Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn

• Good problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Commitment to safety and following procedures

• Australian citizenship

• Reliable and punctual

• Own vehicle required for transport to work.
