Location: Casuarina, NT
Rate: $36.50 – $40.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 18–20 hours per week to start
Type: Ongoing temporary position, with the opportunity to transition to full‑time in July
Your new company 
An established organisation based in Casuarina is seeking a motivated and detail‑focused Accounts Officer to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a supportive environment, and is looking for a flexible position with long-term potential.
Your new role 
You will support day to day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing across a range of accounting functions. Working closely with the finance team, you will help maintain high‑quality financial records and contribute to smooth business operations. 

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions
• Assist with payroll preparation and data entry
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
• Support month-end and year-end reporting
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Provide general administrative and finance support

What you'll need to succeed 

• Previous experience in accounts or finance administration
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or similar)
• A positive, proactive approach
