We’re seeking a Truck Driver to join our Processing Plant team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being active, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping operations moving safely and efficiently.

About Us:

Stanbroke is a reputable family-owned and operated Australian cattle and beef business. Our operations span Northern Queensland with extensive cattle properties, backgrounding operations in Southern Queensland, state-of-the-art feedlots, a fully accredited beef processing facility and global marketing capabilities. We produce a full range of Grain and Grass-fed beef categories and export to over 40 countries worldwide.

Your Role:

Working closely with internal logistics and plant teams, you’ll operate tug trucks and, over time, combi lifts to move refrigerated containers around the plant. You’ll play a key role in ensuring containers are correctly positioned, temperature-controlled, and ready for daily transport. No two days are the same, and your work will directly support the smooth operation of the processing plant.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Operating tug trucks to move semi-trailers with chilled and frozen containers around the plant
  • Backing trailers safely onto loading docks
  • Setting and monitoring temperatures for refrigerated containers
  • Moving containers along trailers from front to back of the plant
  • Learning to operate a combi lift to load/unload containers onto trailers
  • Unloading and reloading containers for daily transport trips
  • Ensuring all containers are connected to power and secured for transport
  • Conducting daily safety and operational checks on tug trucks and combi lifts

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Experience operating heavy vehicles, trucks or plant machinery
  • Confidence reversing and positioning trailers in tight spaces
  • Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn new equipment, including combi lift operation
  • Ability to work reliably on a rotating roster (4 days across Monday–Saturday)
  • Team-focused with good communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Why Join Us?

  • Full-time, permanent role with a respected, vertically integrated Australian beef business
  • 4 days per week, Monday – Saturday rotating roster
  • Training on tug trucks and combi lifts
  • Join a supportive, hands-on team environment
  • Variety and responsibility every day
  • Long-term career opportunities within a growing business

If you’re looking for a hands-on, plant-based driving role where no two days are the same, we want to hear from you!
