About the role

As the Store Manager at Intersport, you will be responsible for leading a team of passionate retail professionals and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our store in Hobart, Tasmania. This full-time role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service and driving the overall success of our local Intersport Hobart branch.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and budgeting

• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably within the sporting goods industry

• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing a superior shopping experience

• Strong leadership and people management abilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

• Analytical and problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions and identify opportunities for growth

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders
