FULL TIME POSITION

Client Services Officer - Financial Planning

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled person to join our Personal Wealth team working as client services officer.

Reporting to the Directors and Senior Financial Advisers, the purpose of the position is to proactively assist the Personal Wealth team (Financial Advisers and Paraplanners) to execced their clients' expectations and financial planning requirements. By assuming responsiblity for the day to day admnistration and implementation activities, leverage them to maximise their client facing and business generating time.

On behalf of the firm and the Personal Weatlh team, proactively and professionally liaise with and provide support to clients to execeed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule client appointments.

  • Plan client review /interview pack preparation and any other documentation required by the financial planners. 

  • Manage and provide relevant staff with diary of financial planners to ensure smooth transition into meetings.  

  • Provide excellent support to clients on the phone and in person.

  • Working collaboratively with Financial Advisers, Paraplanners and other staff to perform a wide range of tasks. 

  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance the firm's efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Effectively manage administration procedures, run errands and maintain office supplies.

  • Understand the culture and goals of the organisation and the team.

Essential Skills (Selection Criteria)

The essential experience, knowledge, skills, competencies and qualifications a person requires in order to successfully fulfil the responsibilities of the position are: 

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar environment.

  • Commitment to exceptional client service delivery with a sound knowledge of administration systems.

  • Excellent written / oral communication, strong numerical skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work to deadlines.

  • Good commercial acumen and attention to detail.

  • Competent with a variety of technolgy applications including MS Office applications.

  • Highly focused on achieving goals and objectives.

  • Self-motivated with regards to personal and professional development.

  • Able to work independently, be organised, flexible and willing to take on the responsibilities.

  • Willingness to continue to improve, embrace change and stay connected with an evolving world of technology.

Desirable

  • XPlan experience or similar

  • Financial Planning industry experience

  • Client service experience

  • Capable of analysing processes and initiating improvements.
