Who are we?

We are an old-fashioned country bakery, producing everything in Euroa. We pride ourselves on having great tasting, fresh product and great service.

We are looking for friendly Front of House Team Members to join us on a casual or permanent part time basis.

Whether you are looking for a part time role or are seeking some casual hours to fit around study or your lifestyle, we want to hear from you!

If you enjoy great food, quality coffee, and serving customers with a smile, this could be the role for you.

About the Role

• Serving customers and providing warm, friendly service
• Making coffees and drinks (barista skills an advantage)
• Learning our sourdough range and becoming a product expeet (training provided)
• Salad bar preparation and food handling
• Keeping the store clean, safe, and welcoming
• Working across both store locations is an option

Hours & Availability

• Weekend work is shared fairly on a rotating roster
• Shifts may include early starts
• Casual and potential permanent part time hours available based on availability and role

What We’re Looking For

• Positive attitude and strong customer focus
• Reliability and willingness to learn
• Ability to work weekends, staggered early starts (but means early finishes to do what you want for the rest of the day!) or mid morning start and early afternoon finish.
• Previous retail or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Coffee on shift (yes please!) and being “taste tester” of products is part of the gig!
• Opportunities to grow with the business, we have shift supervisors, 2ICs and Managers within Burkes Bakery or you may even want to join the bakery production!
• Pay and conditions in line with the General Retail Industry Award, including:
• Applicable penalty rates
• Casual loading (for casual roles)
