Draftsperson / Junior Architect – Residential Projects (Revit Required)
Full-Time | Tuesday to Saturday | Office-Based

The Makaan Builders is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Draftsperson / Junior Architect to join our growing team. This full-time role suits both experienced candidates and beginners with strong Revit skills who are interested in residential documentation and CDC processes.

️ Important: This is a Revit-intensive role. Advanced proficiency in Revit is mandatory. Applicants without strong Revit skills will not be considered, regardless of experience level.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow the company drafting templates and standards provided by the Head Architect

• Complete full CDC documentation sets using Revit for residential projects

• Coordinate with consultants (structural, BASIX, stormwater, private certifiers, etc.)

• Update drawings to address certifier and authority comments

• Ensure compliance with NSW planning controls and CDC requirements

• Maintain organised version control and project documentation

• Support the design and construction teams through the approval process

Required Skills & Experience

• Advanced proficiency in Revit (mandatory)

• Beginners / graduates considered if Revit skills are strong

• SketchUp skills required; Lumion or similar rendering software preferred

• Understanding of CDC documentation (training can be provided for juniors)

• Basic knowledge of NSW residential codes preferred

• Strong attention to detail and time management

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Knowledge of a South Asian language is an advantage

• Own reliable transport preferred

• Must be currently based in Sydney
