We’re hiring a Content Creator & Marketing Coordinator to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who is creative by nature but also highly organised. You love making content, but you also understand how campaigns come together behind the scenes. You’ll work across a mix of clients, publications, and marketing campaigns, supporting everything from content creation to EDMs, media buys, and project coordination.
About the roleThis is a hands-on, varied role working across content, marketing delivery, and campaign coordination. You’ll collaborate closely with our marketing, editorial, and design teams to ensure campaigns are not only creative, but well planned, executed, and delivered on time.
What you’ll be doingCreating social media content including reels, short-form video, posts, and storiesCapturing and editing video content for Instagram, Facebook, and digital platformsWriting engaging captions, EDM copy, and short-form marketing contentBuilding and scheduling EDM campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp or similarAssisting with media buying, booking advertising, and coordinating campaign placementsSupporting campaign planning, timelines, and deliverables across multiple clientsManaging tasks, approvals, and project workflows to keep campaigns on trackCollaborating with designers, journalists, and account leads on integrated campaignsSupporting branded content, partnerships, and promotional activityStaying across content trends, platform updates, and marketing best practice
What we’re looking forExperience creating content for social and digital platformsStrong video and editing skills (phone or camera)Experience or interest in EDM marketing and campaign coordinationOrganised, detail-oriented, and confident juggling multiple projectsComfortable working with Instagram and Facebook as priority platformsStrong communication skills and a proactive approachAbility to work independently and collaborativelyBased in Newcastle or the Hunter region (or willing to be)
