Den Devine is seeking an experienced and confident Venue Supervisor to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is ready to take responsibility for running the venue during shifts in the absence of the Venue Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Run and oversee shifts in the absence of the Venue Manager

• Open and close the venue as required

• Lead, supervise, and support FOH staff during service

• Organise and coordinate staff rosters, floor plans, and break schedules

• Ensure smooth service delivery across bar, floor, and events

• Assist with ordering, stock control, and supplier communication

• Manage bookings, functions, and walk-ins efficiently

• Liaise with kitchen and bar teams to maintain service standards

• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally

• Ensure compliance with RSA, WHS, and venue policies

• Maintain venue presentation, cleanliness, and safety standards

• Cash handling and end-of-shift reporting as required

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a restaurant or bar supervisor role

• Strong leadership and team coordination skills

• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Sound understanding of FOH operations and service flow

• Experience assisting with ordering and stock management

• Confidence in managing bookings, functions, and events

• Availability to work nights and weekends

• Current QLD RSA (essential)

Highly Regarded

• Experience in live music or event venues

• Cocktail or bar experience

• Basic rostering or operational admin experience

• First Aid or Food Safety Certificate
