About the role

APX Traffic Management Pty Ltd is seeking experienced and reliable Traffic Controllers and TMI's to join our team in Coomera, QLD. This is a casual role, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule. As a Traffic Controller or Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of workers and the public at various worksites.

What you'll be doing

• Controlling and directing traffic flow at construction sites, road works, and other designated areas

• Placing and removing traffic control devices such as signs, barriers, and traffic lights

• Monitoring and adjusting traffic control measures to respond to changing conditions

• Providing guidance and supervision to a team of Traffic Controllers, as required

• Ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations and procedures

• Communicating effectively with the public, site managers, and other stakeholders

What we're looking for

• Experience as a Traffic Controller or Team Leader, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry

• Certification in Traffic Control and/or Traffic Management

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
