Position 1: Experienced Auto Electrical Tradesperson (RV Specialist)
Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrical Tradesperson to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in RV electrical systems or similar automotive environments. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing electrical components in caravans, motorhomes, and a variety of recreational vehicles. This role demands technical expertise, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering work of the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

·      Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a variety of RVs and caravans

·      Install, upgrade, and maintain 12V systems, including batteries, solar panels, inverters, lighting, and appliances

·      Fit and wire accessories and aftermarket products according to customer specifications

·      Conduct safety checks to ensure all electrical systems comply with relevant standards and regulations

·      Work collaboratively with other technicians to complete complex projects

·      Maintain accurate service and installation records

·      Communicate clearly with customers regarding diagnoses, repair options, and system upgrades

·      Stay up to date with emerging RV electrical technologies

Essential Criteria

·      Trade qualification in Auto Electrical or an equivalent field

·      Demonstrable experience working with RV, caravan, or automotive electrical systems

·      Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

·      Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·      Sound understanding of safety standards and compliance requirements

·      Current Australian driver’s licence

Preferred Skills

·      Experience with solar systems, lithium battery installations, and advanced charging setups

·      Knowledge of RV-specific appliances and control systems

·      Capability to interpret wiring diagrams and technical schematics

·      Previous customer service experience in a technical setting
